Time Building Course
100 hours Time Building Program - $13,000.00

Multi-engine time building is safe and affordable in our Piper Seminole aircraft. We have a fleet of Piper Seminoles, they all are IFR equipped and certified. One of the biggest challenges faced by pilots that desire to fly professionally is building the required multi-engine flight time.
Skymates recognizes this need and has developed a program for our customers.
Customers enrolled in this program will be paired with another customer and have the opportunity to fly our Piper Seminoles on cross-country flights. During the flights one customer will fly under the hood and the other will act as the "safety pilot". This is the same arrangement used by all of our competitors.
Flights can be conducted to anywhere in the continental United States if the schedule permits. However there are a minimum number of flight hours expected on a daily basis when away from our home base. Other restrictions may also apply.
Pilot Qualifications:
- Airman's certificate (AMEL): Private, Commercial or ATP
- Pilot Time : 250 hours, of which 50 must be in a complex aircraft.
- PIC Time in piston multi-engine aircraft : 25, or 5 hours PIC in make and model, or completion of approved Skymates training consisting of 10 hours.
- Instrument Rating
Pilots with less than 250 hours total time will have to contact the Chief Pilot to enroll in this program.
