Financing Option 1:
SkyMates is proud to partner with SLM Financial to allow you the opportunity to choose the finance program that best suits your flight training needs. Students can borrow up to 100% of the cost of all flight training including books and supplies. Additional living expense money is also offered by SLM Financial.
SLM Financial has a simple online application process with a quick approval. Once the loan is approved and completed, you can begin flight training immediately. The entire process can be short as 24 hours!
Below is information regarding SLM Financial financing:
- Loan terms 10-15 years
- No prepayment penalty
- New deferment option - 12 months of payments at only $10 a month
- 24 month co-borrower release option

Students may apply by two methods: online application or by completing the paper application. Below is information that is needed for both forms:

- Repayment term requested: Up to a maximum of 15 years
- Tuition amount: The cost for the flight training only (no living expenses)
- Date classes begin: Enter the date you plan on starting - there are no set class dates.

- Additional Expense amount: Estimate of living expenses you request if needed.

- Complete Section A of the application. A Co-borrower is required if the Borrower is not currently employed.
